| Having had the opportunity in March 2003 to spend time training and observing at the La Cimbali Factory in Italy (Milan) we returned to New Zealand armed with the knowledge to enable establishing a niche for independent servicing of Espresso equipment in and around Queenstown and the wider Central Otago area, it gave us an insight into the requirements for preventative maintenance of the machinery in general.
 The Espresso service integrated easily into our already established Electrical business – with NZ safety standards we only allow fully qualified electrical staff to work internally on machinery. With a passion for ‘quality espresso’ this was easily a natural progression for Steph to actively work within the Company, completing an independent Barista Certificate in Australia in 2005 then returning to set up an Espresso Bar and Training facility in the showroom. We aim to try and make your coffee making experience as easy and enjoyable as possible by helping you find the right machine (or learn to utilise your existing machine) whether it is at home or for the office.
Operational as Coffeefix, Electrical and Espresso Services since November 2003, our showroom and website houses a selection of coffee machines and accessories (from the traditional stovetops to high end domestic manual machines), all are reputable brands offering fantastic backup support of parts and training in New Zealand.
Whether you require an easily operated stovetop, plunger, automated machine or a full manual machine and grinder we want you to be able to make exceptional coffee on an appliance that is well built and reliable. For your added convenience we sell items that our staff are well versed in using/servicing, with our on site workshop everything is easily accessible.
We offer an alternative to both the Domestic and Commercial Hospitality market giving independent advice on machinery and equipment specific to your requirements. Having no fixed affiliation with a Coffee Company/Roaster we can be objective with our advice and have extensive knowledge.
There are lots of great machines out there (for all budgets) and it is important for us to be able to offer you ‘the consumer’ choice.
Coffeefix are also Registered Master Electricians obtaining an EcoSmart Electrical rating in June 2009, we still provide the same electrical service and maintenance that we have done since 1995. Yes!!! we repair Washing Machines, Dishwashers, Ovens and can accommodate all your alterations and repairs.
